However, as simple because it sounds, a lot of gamers don’t skills to uninstall League of Legends from their computer (PC/Mac). If you belong to this category, here’s a solution for you.
In this article, we’ll show you how to uninstall League of Legends on PC and Mac.
How to Uninstall League of Legends on Windows
Most League gamers are running LoL on Windows, so we’re starting with instructions for removing League from that OS. If you’re running macOS, you’ll need to wait a little longer while we add those uninstall instructions.
Step 1: Navigate to the Add or Remove Programs tool in Windows
To do this, open the start menu within the bottom left of your monitor. Begin typing “add or remove programs.” you’ll see the search suggestions narrow until you correctly see the shortcut shown within the image below. we’ll be using this Windows 10 tool to remove League of Legends.
Step 2: search for “League of Legends” within the Search Bar
In the middle of the Add or Remove programs tool, you’ll see a search bar where you’ll filter the installed programs down to just see League of Legends.
Step 3: To uninstall Legends, select “Uninstall”
Once you have filtered your search results down to League of Legends, select the game, then press the uninstall button to continue.
Step 4: Confirm you want to Uninstall LoL by Clicking the “Uninstall” button on the New Popup
To save you from accidentally uninstalling the game, Windows 10 will ask you to confirm you wish to uninstall. Press the new uninstall button to continue.

HOW TO UNINSTALL LEAGUE OF LEGENDS ON MAC
Using a Mac is more awkward when it comes to uninstalling software manually. this is why many users prefer installing software to do this for them. Software like App Cleaner is specifically designed to do things like this. When it involves manually remove software like games from a Mac then you’ll want to do this:
1. Open the Applications folder and find League of Legends
2. Drag it into the Trash then click Empty Trash
3. At the top of the screen, click Go then go to Folder otherwise you can press this shortcut: ⌘+⇧+G
4. it’ll bring up a box so you’ll access the hidden Library folder by typing or pasting things into the text box. You’ll need to find and delete several files.
These are the two full lines to repeat and paste into the search bar one at a time:
~Library/Application Support/Riot Games
~Library/Saved Application State/com.riotgames.LeagueofLegends.LoLPatcher.savedState
5. Drop all of these files into the Trash then click Empty Trash
